Reflecting on some pass travels so I highly recommend a visit to the Land of Fire and Ice also known as Iceland. One of the amazing things about Iceland is that the sites and wonders are owned locally by farmers not by the government or state so when you visit a waterfall you pay a small amount to the farmer. This is a picture of Godafoss falls which was one of my favorite places to visit hidden away on a farmers land that you would miss if not for a guide. Most of the water in Iceland is glacier run off with select areas being thermal heated. The country is struggling with the balance between tourism and keeping things natural, I would recommend you go over the next few years to see the real Iceland.
