Main reason I came to Italy was to see the Amalfi Coast. It is best seen by boat in my opinion. The roads from Sorrento to Amalfi include over 800 switchbacks which is not good for anyone who has motion sickness. Due to the switchback and narrow roads buses have to be smaller in this region.
There are stunning views everywhere you look, the food is fresh and plentiful, shops are full of everthing lemon and the gelato is to die for!
Tourism sometimes brings out the negative so the streets are crowed and bus tours are only allowed to stay in town for 2 hours. You can also catch the ferry in Sorrento and come over for the day which I recommend.
Wrapping up my last afternoon in Sorrento to start the drive to Chianciano tomorrow, time to see the Tuscany area!
